2 new gigs have been added to our roster. At the end of august,
we'll play at Vlamrock. 31th of october, there's Aaltjesrock
(Hol) to come. The latter with ao Crematory and Hysterica
on the bill.
13-01-2009: Peter's here, on business
A good man is hard to find. But we've done it. Panchrysia
is proud to announce the arrival of Peter Noens (vocalist/guitarplayer
in The
Reckoning). From now on, he will be the one in charge
of one of Panchrysia's guitar parts.
Last couple of weeks, he has been digging up the dead with
a shovel and a pick for us. And it might be a dirty job, but
oh yes, he has proven himself to be a tight and steady master.

Our third album 'Deathcult
Salvation' is out in Norway. The album can be purchased in
stores and through the Dark
Essence Records webshop. Make sure to catch us live next
weekend in at Tribute, Sandnes 29.02 and Dark Essence Metal
Fest, Bergen. Worldwide release is set on the 24th of March.

05-02-2008: Bestial sinful dances
Another
2 gigs confirmed: on the 8th of March, Panchrysia hits the
stage of JH Contrabas (Ingelmunster) with Aguynguerran and
Emptiness. On the 24th of May, we play in Houten (Netherlands)
with Hegemon (FR) and Dutch Winter Of Sin (NL).
18-01-2008: To Lofiest Heights
A
second gig for our Norwegian release weekend has been confirmed.
On the 29th of February, we play at
Tribute (Sandnes - near Stavanger) together with Thurs.
In the meantime, it got clear that our Belgian release party
will be held at JH De Klinker (Aarschot) on the 17th of May,
together with our comrades of Aguynguerran, Gorath and Demonic
Empire. Guaranteed to be a damn sleazy feast!
13-01-2008: Release at Dark Essence Fest
Since the Norwegian
release date for Deathcult Salvation is set on the 25th of
February, Panchrysia couldn't be lacking Dark Essence Fest
2008 (29.02 & 01.03). This party will be held at The Garage
(Bergen), together with some of the other labelmates.
Possibly 1 or 2 extra gigs will be added to this release weekend.

Angel - new live power
Due to some personal circumstances, live-guitarist
Aratemoth needed to part ways with Panchrysia. We're grateful
to have had this young talent in the band, even for this short
period of time. We'll wish him the best of luck.
His spot will be replaced by apprentice Devenster (also in
Gorath)
who will make his first Panchrysia-appearance on Arnhem Metal
Meeting (1st of december).

"Thankfully
the Belgians were invading again this time in the form of
Panchrysia who certainly took the award for most interesting
stage make up. Singer Zahrim looked like a complete and utter
lunatic reminding a bit of the tar zombie in Return Of The
Living Dead, as they tore a new rectum out the venue with
‘The Ultimate Crescendo Of Hell.’ I remember their
2002 album ‘In Obscure Depths’ with cheeky lyrics
penned by the likes of Coleridge, Stephenson and Baudelaire
and after this show I think I shall dig it out again. Vocals
are perhaps similar to the growl of Abbath and musically this
isn’t a million miles from Satyricon, early Zyklon and
Emperor, which is no bad thing at all. Basically this was
a performance mixing both pure class and pure filth together
with style. Older numbers like ‘Winter Chill’
did exactly what intended; the sun had most definitely hidden
now. By last number ‘Infection 1349’ it was apparent
